Ensure that the tape is wound to the beginning of the cassette and that you have the correct side of the tape uppermost in the cassette recorder. 2. Connect the ear socket of your Spectrum to the ear socket of your cassette recorder utilising either the grey or black set of leads as supplied. 3. Set an initial volume on your recorder, say 3/4 of maximum to start with 4. If you have treble or bass controls on your cassette recorder set the treble to maximum and the bass to minimum. 5. Type LOAD"" 6. Press ENTER 7. Press PLAY on the cassette recorder. 8. The program when loaded will run itself and provide full instructions. Should the program not load correctly please set a different volume level on your cassette recorder and try again after having reset your Spectrum. N.B.
