LOADING Position the cassette in your tape recorder with the printed side upwards and make sure that it is rewound to the beginning. Ensure that the connection lead goes from the EAR socket on the recorder to the EAR socket on the Spectrum and that the MIC socket is disconnected. TYPE LOAD"" CODE [Note there is no space between the two quotes] the " is obtained by pressing the SYMBOL SHIFT and P KEY simultaneously. For further instructions consult chapter 6 on your manual. PRESS PLAY on the recorder. The screen message should appear and the game will load automatically. If this does not happen, adjust the volume and tone controls until loading takes place. Follow instructions on screen. PLAYING Your mission, as the commander of the Missile battery, is to prevent the destruction of your cities and the "Armageddon" by bombarding the attacking nuclear tracers with your ballistic firepower. The armed spy satellite must also be stopped and as the action speeds up your concentration will be tested. Difficulty increases as each attack wave is repelled! Good Luck STATUS AND SCORING On screen scoring shows current score, Hi-score and the number of missiles left. After each attack wave the status of cities and missiles is affirmed. Points are scores as follows 20 Direct hit 100 Spy Satellite 10 Bonus for each missile left. CONTROLS The game is either keyboard or Kempston joystick controlled.
