PITMAN SEVEN

Your mission is to rescue two teams of seven desperate men, trapped underground
on level five. You must bring each man to the surface, surviving the dangers you
meet en route. You could, if you're lucky, survive the rock falls by perhaps
jumping over them or leaping through a trap door to another level. So... if
you're fit and you can run like blazes you can get to the surface. But, how do
you stay alive when waves of gas are cascading down the shafts? Well... we can't
tell you everything.

PROGRAM LOADING INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Ensure that the tape is wound to the beginning of the cassette and that you
have the correct side of the tape uppermost in the cassette recorder.

2.  Connect the ear socket of your Spectrum to the ear socket of your cassette
recorder utilising either the grey or black set of leads as supplied.

3.  Set an initial volume level on your recorder, say 3/4 of maximum to start
with.

4.  If you have treble or bass controls on your cassette recorder set the treble
to maximum and the bass to minimum.

5.  Type LOAD ""

6.  Press ENTER

7.  Press PLAY on the cassette recorder.

8.  The program when loaded will run itself and provide full instructions.
Should the program not load properly please set a different volume level on your
cassette recorder and try again after having reset your Spectrum.

N.B. If you are unfamiliar with your Spectrum and do not know what the correct
loading sequence looks like on your TV set please refer to your Spectrum Manual
chapter 20.
