Sky Ranger ---------- Sky Ranger is an intense arcade/strategy game where not only your skill as a pilot but your split second decisions are going to make the difference between success and failure in freeing the city from the reign of terror held by the Watchers! The Aim of the Game: Many have tried to become ace Sky Rangers - all have failed - now, your turn has come! Scour the streets of the city in search of the Watchers. The Watchers were created to enforce the law - they were too far and have become our most feared enemy. They must be found and destroyed. You will have control over the latest jetcopter fully equipped with 360 degree radar, ceiling gauge, proximity detectors and target indicators. Flying around the city at great speeds you will soon exhaust your fuel supply. However, there are five refuelling stations which can be used once each per game. (To refuel you must actually land ON a station). The city is located near to the sea and dense fogs float in and completely obscure your vision, flying and even landing becomes perilous and almost impossible. Sky Ranger is an intense, arcade/strategy game where not only your skill as a pilot but your split second decisions are going to make the difference between success and failure! Controls: The Control Panel: 360 Degree Radar - This will allow you to check on the position of the nearest Watcher. You must then close in until the Watcher is centered on your Vidscreen before firing. Target Indicator - This will flash red when you are on target and a Watcher is in range (use in conjunction with the radar). Proximity Detectors - These are found on the left hand side of your control panel and are used to locate the refuelling stations. For example, when you are close to 'Quantum's Leap' the letter 'Q' will flash. Ceiling Gauge - This will give you warning of approaching fog, when you see the height of the cloud falling you must fly lower to stay beneath them. 1-0 = Fire Q - T = Accelerate A - G = Decelerate CAPS - V = Left Y - P = Up H - ENTER = Down B - SPACE = Right Or define your own keys Or cursor joystick + 2 keys for control.
