minicoll 1.0 - a Speccy Minigame Collection Compilation of Spectrum/ZX81 Minigame Compo entries, 2001-2003 Public domain by various authors. All games are included with permission. Minicoll, or the "Speccy Minigame Collection", is a collection of Spectrum and ZX81 entries in the Minigame Compo, years 2001-2003. It doesn't include all the games as I couldn't get permission from everyone, but it does have the vast majority. The collection (which requires a Spectrum 128/+2/+3) is a single load, and lets you quickly switch between games once everything has loaded. You can return to the game-selecting menu with Caps+Space (Break on a real speccy). Note that for Dotathon 2 you need to be at the game's score/high-score screen for this to work. Source to the front-end is included here as minicoll-src.tar.gz (buildable on Linux with zmac) - but don't worry about that unless you're interested. Source for the games should be available from the authors if they chose to release it (most did), and much the same applies to full instructions for the games (but most don't really require them IMHO). I know not including instructions (in particular) is a bit odd, but unfortunately I neglected to ask for permission to do that. Instructions should all be available in the voting packs for each compo though, and they're all still online at the time of writing. Thanks to all the game authors for giving me permission to include their games (and/or those they worked on), I wasn't expecting so many people to agree to it. :-) If anyone has any queries, bug reports, etc., I can be emailed at rus@svgalib.org. -Rus.
