This introductory software cassette is an interactive aid and tutor to the
many features of the ZX Spectrum+

HOW TO LOAD

Set up your ZX Spectrum+ and connect the cassette recorder as described in the
accompanying manual.

1. Insert this cassette into the cassette recorder and ensure that it is fully
   rewound and that the volume control is set to about two-thirds maximum, and
   the tone control at maximum.
2. Now press the key marked J. The Sinclair copyright message should now be
   replaced by the word LOAD. Now press the key with the quote mark (") on it
   twice. You should now have the following on your screen:

   LOAD ""

3. If all is correct press the key marked ENTER and then press the play button
   on your cassette recorder. The border around the screen will alternate
   between red and blue for a few moments. Then you will see red and blue bands
   moving up the screen followed by a brief burst of yellow and blue stripes.
   A message should now appear on the screen which says:

   Program: A   (or)   Program: B

   This will be followed by more red and blue bands and then the yellow and
   blue stripes again as the program loads. You should now wait for
   instructions to appear on the screen telling you what to do next.

4. If this doesn't happen within 30 seconds of the play button being pressed
   reset the computer by pressing the reset button on the left-hand side of the
   ZX Spectrum+. The Sinclair copyright message will reappear. Rewind the tape,
   adjust the volume slightly and start again from 2) above. If you have any
   further problems consult the Software Loading Troubleshooter in the manual.
