Yo there!

I was trying to load Black Magic in ZXSPIN V0.6 build 050713 (RZX) to no avail. It fakes the loading process, I tried with and without speed-loading etc. Then I tried it in Spectaculator and it loads just fine ... I even get the loading picture (but don't in Spin).

So ... two questions:

1. Any way to get the game to work in Spin?

2. How do I get rid of the border in Spectaculator? (I'm stuck with Small, Medium, Large ... what about None??? Those settings not available in Options ... tsk, tsk! ;) )

Thanks!

Trying to go from 128k mode to 48k mode by 'switching models' I got a white screen with a black border. I tried this a few times and all I got was the same result.
No problem I thought, I'll uninstall it and reinstall it. Still the same. I then downloaded the program again from the Spectaculator web site and installed it from that. STILL the same. I am uninstalling everything and making sure all the folders have gone and everything but it is STILL the same. What makes me wonder if I am leaving something on my hard drive is the fact that every time I reinstall it and launch it it starts with all my settings as they were and even remembers what games I had just played!!

It would seem that I am not uninstalling something properly. I have NEVER had this happen to me before.

In the Turtles Coinop TZX there is a Hardware Type block that has a number of hardware values of 04 and one of 49!
The TZX spec states that the values are 00 to 03.
Is it safe to just read the 2 least significant bits of the value or are there values not listed in the spec?

It's quite minor actually and is in the Assembler. Ocassionally when assembling the ASM gives the wrong address to a label. For instance I used the label CHARLOOP in a program. It didn't run correctly so after not being able to figure out what was wrong I started to work step by step through it with the debugger. The assembler had allocated #000C to the label. It's just occured to me why it did this on this occasion. "H" is used to signify Hex and the label began "CH" so the ASM thought it was a HEX address and ignored the rest of the label.
