This game was REALLY fun, some of you must remember it's name! In it I control a man with a machine gun. I think he's green color. In this game he is in some kind of underground complex where there are many mean looking decaying bodies running back and forth on platforms. Most platforms are red colored, but later there are metal ones, and yellow ones. One specific feature of this game is when you shoot the monsters who run at you they go through this nice animation where they fall apart and become pile of dust. After some time I think this dust rises up to become monster again, but I am not sure. The task is basically to find some keys to go to more screens. The background is black. I think there are moving platforms too in form of elevators. Also, when you're on a red platform, there are spots when the platform is falling apart and when you run on it you see it becoming dust and disintegrate.

Now I live in USA San Francisco and go to University of California Berkeley. I played enourmous number of spectrum games, and now I discovered amulators and I am at it again.

I am looking for following two games whose names I have forgotten.

One is an isometric game where I control a 4 legged robot. I walk around the city infested with evil insects that look like flies. My task is to kill them all by throwing balls at them. I know it's popular but dont' remember it's name.

Second game I am looking for is a game where I control a muscular fighter who enters the city of evil OLD PEOPLE. He is attacked by old man with a walking stick and I think later by old woman with a purse.
I am pretty sure that the weapon inventory on the left is different but I am pretty sure there is a different wonderboy sprite there.
Perhaps Amigo (sorry to bother u again mate!) might even change the title screen to include the credit. "Spectrum English translation by Ed" would be enuff I suppose.

The reason is that it's perhaps a unique instance when a non-English game has been worked upon so in recent times to make it available to the general public. Take a bow Ed!

Hi,

The original Lunar Jetman case, was it of the type with the black back as opposed to all clear? My memory is failing me :)
Thanks,

I'm pleased to announce the second Cronosoft release... The excellent "DEAD OR ALIVE" game, for the Spectrum.

It's a vertically scrolling arcade shoot-em-up, and bears a resemblence to the game 'GUNSMOKE'.

Written by Jonathan Cauldwell, this is a previously unreleased game, and is priced at just ?2.99, and comes with a full colour gloss inlay.

I'll be updating the website to accept orders later today, so it should be up and running by tomorrow for online ordering.

Also in the pipeline, and due for release in a few days time are two more games: GLOOP! and HOP 'N' CHOP.

I'll keep you posted!

best wishes,

Simon

Does anyone have any info on the Spectrum game 'Fred Loder'? I'm pretty sure the title of the game is correct, but I can't find any reference to it anywhere on the net. It was a platform game, where this guy started out on the lowest level of a mine, and you had to help him find his way up through numerous levels to the surface, while avoiding various obstacles, dead-ends, etc.
