The screen sample here for the tape that contains the scrapped version of 'Total Recall' uses a screen from the released version of the game. This should be changed to one from the demo version, which is completely different.

In the POKEs listing in the Pokemania section of this tape is an entry for "Turboness". This is not a POKE entry but runs a separate sound-to-light utility program. This program is not listed in the contents for this tape nor anywhere else on WoS.

I believe that the name of this game is incorrect.

There are more problems with it.

Tap version says proudly: Broken by Bill Gilbert 1991 :) and is a hacked version.

The loading screen from tzx version, as I strongly suspect, isn't proper. It is some campaign against drugs, which I have seen added to some other Spanisher games. I can't believe that this game doesn't have its own loading screen.

So I believe it should be tzxed from the beginning. Anybody has a copy?

Stack 100 Light Pen "not available for the Spectrum"

I notice that WoS has the "Stack 100 Light Pen" in the archive, but according to the companies own advert, it is not available for the Spectrum:

I found this out because I have a Stack 100 Light Pen, and it is clearly designed to plug into a Commodore 64 / Vic 20 joystick port, as confirmed by the manual found online.

Romantic Robot Multiprint compatibility

In the blurb for the Multiprint it says:

Compatable with all Spectrums except +2 and +2A.

However, on the box label and the instructions it specifies that it does work on the +2. I know this because I have one that I am just about to put on eBay! Also, both the Crash and Sinclair User reviews state it works on all Spectrums apart from the +3.

So I would suggest the blurb is corrected to say it doesn't work on the +3.

As seen here, it looks like Arcadia was the definitive name of this compilation, so if the spine also reads "Arcadia", it should be set as the main name, with "The Arcadian" as an alias. And I guess if the spine does say "The Arcadian", then "Arcadia" should be added as another alias.

The WoS entry for ZXOOM only contains an outdated snapshot (dated November 18, 2011) that doesn't seem to work on most emulators.

The author provided an updated TAP version here that seems to work much better.

Also the English translation of the instructions file can be taken from here.

Addams Family (Hit Squad) Incorrect Date

I've just been browsing the archive for Ocean's Addam's Family, and it looks like the Hit Squad release entry has an invalid date.

The full price release has a release date of 1992:

Trying to list hardware

I'd want to buy a tape recorder for my Spectrum, but I can't list recorders on infoseek.

If I look for a know model (like Sanyo DR-101), I can see there is a field (Type) than can help me find tape recorders (Hardware: cassette), but I can't select any kind of hardware in advanced search.

Looking in the hardware page, I can see that the listings show the type of hardware but, again, I'm unable to filter results.

How can I get a listing of tape recorders from infoseek?

(BTW, my goal is to get a listing so I can find tape recorders suitable for my spectrum in ebay)

The Bulge - screenshots and versions

Firstly the "loading" screenshot seems to be an "in-game" screenshot. I can upload a replacement, does it just go to the normal FTP address?

Secondly, there's a TZX file marked as being an Argus Press software version, but the Argus Press version should have an APS copyright logo on screen, as shown here: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0000753

but the Argus Press TZX version doesn't seem to have this, so I wonder if it's really the right version.
