http://www.stairwaytohell.com/games/d.html
under 'Dee-Kay' lists the following Spectrum titles which were also released for the BBC Micro:

Class 50 fleet manager
Cornish Riviera
Deltic fleet manager
Royal Scot
RTC Birmingham
RTC Buxton
RTC Crewe
RTC Doncaster
RTC King's cross
RTC Lime st
RTC Paddington
RTC Penzance
Shedmaster Bounds Green
South Devon Hydraulics
Tees Tyne Pullman

There are some inlays on infoseek which are missing, but on the linked page, maybe you could ask Dave (mailto:dllm@usa.net?subject=STH) for permission to use them on WoS since I see you sometimes use BBC inlays where a Spectrum one is missing (e.g. Return to Eden)

The WoS Infoseek listing for the game Snare seems to be missing some of the "people" mentioned on the loading screen, menu and high-score table of the game.

The menu has this list of credits (same in 48k and 128k):

And the high-scores have this extension of credits:

So here's a listing of the people missing from the Infoseek listing. Don't know who gets voted off the island (cover art guy?). But there's plenty to wade through.

Loading screen:
PIXAR, (C)ESD (this entity seems to have held the copyright to the game at that time?)

Menu credits:
Graeme Robertson, Andy Brown, Martin Mckenzie

High-score table:
Holburn Software (distributed the game(before ?and after? Beyond Belief decided to distribute it via their label)) + Cover artwork by Richard Fox.

Holburn Software seems to have been a company selling games, computers, etc. located in Aberdeen (as can be seen in this ad for the game).

Also the WoS Infoseek doohickie goes on to say that "Your Sinclair 6.92" has a preview of the game on page 62 but it's actually on page 65. (more info/background story on that page plus also YS 7.92.)

Here is some explanation about the publication (unknown in Infoseek) of War Game.

It's an strategy game published in the issue 37 of 'Microhobby Semanal'. It came in a peculiar medium delivered with the mag: Discoflex. It was a sort of soft plastic record (like a little Long Play) you had to put in a Hi-Fi set and save it to a tape, then load in the Spectrum. It was in theory an easy and cheap way to distribute programs with the magazine, as the Discoflex was easily inserted among their pages. But Microhobby didn't deliver the Discoflex any more... maybe several fails in the plastic record (I was one of the many people who got a wrong copy ) did it not interesting to deliver.

It came with two programs, one in each side: a demo of Hypersports and a full game, War Game.

Both game and demo, plus more explanations about Discoflex can be found in Jose Manuel Claros' page 'El Trastero': http://www.speccy.org/trastero/cosas/Discoflex/Discoflex.htm (in spanish).

Ref - PCW 12 - 18 May page 5

Hitch-hikers dispute is over

THE dispute over the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy adventure game has been settled.
Supersoft, the Middlesex-based software company, and Hitch-hikers author, Douglas Adams reached an agreement through their solicitors moments before the case came to court.
An injunction was sought by Douglas Adams on the grounds that Supersoft had no right to use the names and places from the hook in the game.
In return for Supersoft dropping the game, Douglas Adams has agreed not to pursue any claims over royalties on those cassettes already issued.
The game was originally released by Supersoft in the belief that a letter from Pan had given them the necessary rights (PCW, 21-27 April). Pan have paid the legal costs of both sides

From this it would seem that some copies escaped into the wild and therefore it should be listed in infoseek.

Hi Martijn / Jon,

A number of software titles are listed under Jon North as distribution denied despite (a) Jon North's distribution status is "allowed" and (b) the items appear to be solely owned by him.

http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekpub.cgi?regexp=^Jon+North$

Is this an infoseek error or is something more sutble blocking distribution status?
