    It's Stupid, I wonder if there was already something wrong with it or something, otherwise, what a waste. Moron.
    It's like when I was doing 1st year electronics at school, kids used to blow up LEDs just for the hell of it, They don't even explode dammit! Pointless!

    I'm a bit confused as to how he did it.

    In my experience, if an AMD CPU has no working fan, it takes about 15 seconds for it to overheat. There is no way it got so hot it exploded.

    AMD CPU's can work effectively at 90c. Anything above that would have just melted the main board & cut the power to it.

    I guess it's running at max temp / load and then when u remove the heatsink - pop.

    Must've destroyed one or two others just to 'discover' this though.

    They overclocked the CPU ... which helped matters along.
