William Tang's book as already recommended is very good, but must be pretty massive in scanned image form. If you want something more manageable with example programs already typed in and tested, there are three TXT/TAP archives at the bottom of the page in Spot's Pourri
which contain multi-part machine code tutorials from Sinclair User and ZX Computing magazines. They're only a few hundred K when unzipped.
It's worth checking on eBay UK for the Tang book, as it's often for sale, and then you can have your very own proper copy for a few quid. Note that the correct title is "Spectrum Machine Language for the Absolute Beginner".
