Strange Loaders.....

edited January 2006 in Games
I LOVE the way different games load on the Speccy. I will often load a game just to watch it load!! (I am VERY strange!)

There have been many different types of loader on the Speccy but which, in your view, was the strangest?
Maybe one that had two or three different loading screen$ or mixed some type of turbo loader with a normal speed loader or whatever.

And, also, which was your favourite?

The 48k movieload for Moonstrike is the most unusual loading I've ever come across. Special mention should also go to Technician Ted and Trap Door (Berk's eyes blink). For some games the chuntey (I hope that's the correct word) can be quite colourful or unusual. Paperboy and Hamte Damte are both good examples of this, although there are probably many others.

    Cordially,

    According to:
    http://www.sinclairfaq.com/cssfolklore/#chuntey

Chuntey is defined as "The Speccy loading "aura". i.e. the mystical field set up when the Speccy was loading that was sensitive to the slightest disturbance e.g. your mum walking into the room. Of course causing a disturbance in the chuntey instantly causes any game currently loading to fail."
