Has anyone read a book called "The Ultimate History of Video Games" (or something similar)?
It's a great account of the video gaming history and as such has some fantastic behind-the-scenes account of companies like Atari, Nintendo, Sega, coin-op majors like Namco, Capcom, etc. There is even a mention of the speccy somewhere (a couple of lines actually - it's an American book needless to say). And the Stamper Brothers crop up now and then in relation with Rare.
Very good read if only to realise how young the video gaming industry is and how much of it has changed over the years.
