Diseased ranting

Before you flame me for this, I have searched and can't find a previous thread on this...

Why can't people check their spelling in posts to WoS?
It can obscure meaning.
I know you're typing fast, but a quick check only takes a few seconds...

I'm going to get lynched, aren't I?

    Don't even mention English exams, I'm in my GCSE year and can't imagine anything more boring than an English exam.

    Oh, and another thing. This forum isn't crappy at all!

  • Geography... quite boring, but not as bad as English.
    Maths - how dare you insult the queen of the sciences.
    I Love Maths, it's so fun;
    i times i equals minus one :-)
  • Accountancy I don't know about, but the thought of the massive salary accountants receive must suffuse it with a warm glow???

    Perhaps you had a poor maths teacher at school.
    I'm willing to provide personal tutoring over the forums, at the low low price of 75p and a packet of Rolos per hour.

    <EDIT>
    Offer not actually real: I am not going to teach any maths to anyone who doesn't want to learn (even to the extent of never programming)

    dy/dx is from calculus;
    maths goes beyond the abacus!

    I'm a bad poet. :-(

    Wow, haven't been lynched yet!

    Wow, haven't been lynched yet!

    That's cos nobody's figured out who you are yet[1]

    D.

    [1] Obscure in-joke, move along.
  • I am stolidly against anything which might ever cause the slightest risk of identity theft.

    Though there is one WoSer who thought he had me sussed - PMs back and forth.

    This was a terrible attempt to get revenge after I told everyone I knew who he was.
    He accused me of being his bro'.
    No idea what his brother's like, but knowing feelings between brothers he probably meant it as an insult.

    You'll never lynch me though, I use ZoneAlarm to protect my identity. It's good stuff!

    All I can say, is that I am not anyone you have ever hated including but not limited to:
    I am not Gamestage
    TKrap
    Bunch of Weirdos (remember them?)

    Er... no. I think you're referring to "Gamestage" (the original). I-am-not-gamestage is just a clever WoS forumer (you know who you are!) having a laff at Gamestage's expense. :)

    But the point is that some people have been less-than-respectful to I-am-not-Gamestage.
    Presumably they hate him and/or her.
    I am not I am not Gamestage though.
    Don't hate me because I'm foolish.

    Thank you! I thought I was the only one with that problem! And then it apparently selectively disperses search finds depending on where on the planet one is located. I hate it that commercialism plays such a huge role when it comes to doing the simplest of web searches.

    BTW did you guys (and gals) hear about BMW and Google? Read about it here

    Aye, tha's right, tha's.
    Can't ever trust Germans, whether they make cars or not.
    (Apologies to all Germans who read this)
    Google is easily corrupted.
    It is vulnerable - remember the WMD 404?
    I would recommend not using a search engine, wsamm, but instead going straight here as it's the only quality content on the net.
    Well, except for <insert other good www. here> that is.
