Well, after this long I doubt it's materializing. Poor lad probably just whizzed his old PC out and now's all embarrassed to come back and post as everyone will case him about it.
I can relate. I went through my parents' attic this summer and we turfed out about 30 years' worth of junk. Amongst it was two black bin bags stuffed full of speccy games. (mostly originals).
I think they've probably all been imaged before (but you never know), and I was going to offer, but when it came down to it I couldn't be arsed to troll through them and see, so in the 'Hard Plastics' skip they went.. (Sorry everyone!)

On this site, that is a public hanging offence!

I'm extremely ashamed to admit it, but I did pretty much the same thing when I first moved out of home... I kept a bunch of my faves and binned the rest (a vast majority of which were budget games and re-releases). It was long before I got back into the Speccy, and I just thought "well, I can play these games on an emulator anyway". I had no internet connection back then either, so I didn't know about WoS. If I had, I would've at least donated them to someone here.
In hindsight, I'm angry with myself to say the least...
I have to say in my defense - I was back in the UK on holiday so I wasn't really in a mood to dedicate lots of time to a project like that, and I couldn't have brought them back with me.
Also. if I had kept them I would have lost the ability to tell my old man that stuff that he was wanting to hang on to (like older people do) was 15 years out of date, they make them for peanuts these days if he ever needed to use one and he obviously hadn't needed to for a decade or so as it's been buried up there, so he should chuck it.
It did feel a bit weird to throw them out, seeing how highly I used to value them, (I threw out my old collection of 2000ADs as well, that spanned from 1985 through to about 2001 - thought that would hurt more than it did), but it was good to get rid of that much junk.
I also considered giving them away on here, but then I would have had to wait for someone to come and collect them and/or had to box them up and ship them, and we were out doing touristy things every day, so I didn't really have the time for that either.
I had to do that as well, i had to throw out my beano and victor comincs from 1983 to 1989 as i had no more space, that was a sad moment, i also threw out some Sinclair User and Crash editions (but kept my Your Sinclairs).
