Judging is now under way!

So, no voting this year then?

Any idea when the final verdict will be announced?

  • I've got about 25 games or so for cgc 2006, but it seems to be not starting until cgc05 is judged. Please hurry up so I can send them in. Target 100 games for '06! Can I get there?

Isn't that just a tad greedy? Swamping the competition sounds unfair to me. Why not just send in 10, then you'll have enough left over for the next nine years! I'm just going to enter one or two.
  • I was planning to just send in the 10 best (crappest?) anyway.

But I'll send in a full list of the 100, with reference numbers, as a 'coming soon' thing.

Anyway, writing 100 crap games is 10 times as fun as writing 10 of them.

I don't mean to swamp the comp, I just want to ensure a presence for the next 10 years at 10 per year.

Ah, you leave it ages, then the results come in without you noticing...

    Glad I got some 7/10's :)

I got 6/10 and 7/10 is this good or bad

If your games weren't intended to be crap, it's bad. If they were intended to be crap, it's pretty good. It's good that you managed to get a reasonable score competition wise.

I'm dissapointed that my maze game only got 6/10 as it was meant to be bad I thought I'd score highly because it had randomly creadted the room exits and occaisonaly produced no exits which i din't do on purpose it was just bad programing.
  • Now that the first three are uploaded (actually I have written 35 including a Deal Or No Deal simulator that was so stunningly un-crap I put it on lotsofstuff.dsk which may find its way to my website's ZX Cornah eventually but I'm rambling now aren't I? (Yes - Ed.)), I won't get any more PMs asking for copies of my cgc games (you know who you are)! At last, more time to ask questions that show I don't really know much about the Spectrum, as well as trying my best to avoid the WoS lynch mob.
And I might even learn some more of the vbCode tags which are really cool
