I wonder who they'll get to replace her.

On the plus side, this probably means we won't be seeing Jackie Tyler in the series anymore. :)

    I thought everybody knew she was leaving.

    There were interviews with her before the second series started filming saying that she'd be leaving this season.

    I think there were even stories just after it was revealed Ecclestone was leaving. They said she'd be leaving half way through the second series.

    I think they need an unknown actress preferably from an earlier time zone than the present. I wont be sad to see her go but im guessing she'll get killed as the devil hinted at it in the satan pit.

    Very strange, considering that only yesterday, she renewed her contract for series 3 and stated that the character is so fun to play, that she wont be leaving it just yet. Is she allowed to just jack it in the next day?

    Don't believe everything you read in teh tabloids.

    Her departure was planned since last year adn Doomsday was written around it especially.

    My 7 year old daughter was in tears after she found out and it took me 3 hours to cheer her up.

    Sometimes I look at her and think...phwoar. Most times I look at her and think shes an odd looking old ming-boat.

    If rumours are to be swallowed those who remember a nurse called Roxy from Casualty could well be the new girl (she just missed out last time). She is quite a boyish cutey fox of a girl.

    I used to like Dr.Who before it went GAY.

    Everytime I look at that woman, those eyebrows just remind me of Denis Healey.
