+128ks and Specdrum!

edited July 2006 in Wanted
Does anyone have a Specdrum they wish to part with? needs to be working, but I want to use it not collect it, so not bothered about packaging and instructions etc. Just want a working unit!

(Bit effed off cos I've owned this TWICE before!! One 'went missing' in a shared house, the other got nabbed when I was burgled! So I know there's at least two out there!!)

Also, would like some +128k Spectrums. That is the issue after the +48k, but before the (apologies) awful Amstrad keyboard issues with integral cassette.

I believe this was the best issue - best looking too!

It is the 3 channel sound abilities I am really after.

May also buy some 48s and +48s.

Am building up a Spectrum music chain!

You can PM me, or send me a message thru eBay via my user name CountvonSchmell. (not giving out my email cos it is jammed solid with **** spam!!)

But you are mistaken. The grey +2 was the best of the 128s. A very well done overhaul of the original design, although the tape recorder was naff.
And because the tape recorder is naff, the sound output is very noisy. Though I don't actually own one, I would say the original Sinclair 128 is best for good quality sound output (unless you get the soldering iron out).
