As an organizer of this tournament, I'd like to know what people think about
games we propose this year as candidates to be part of this tournament's
edition.
I don't mind if you aren't registered as a player of the tournament, I would like
to hear people thoughts.

You can view the games at:

I think it's a good selection of games this year. A good mix of older and newer games, and quite a few of the categories are very strong indeed (I had a hell of a time picking a shoot-em-up to vote for, as an example).

There are only a couple of weak categories IMO - nothing in the platform and maze groups really stands out as far as I'm concerned.
All in all, I'm looking forward to seeing which games get chosen.

I think the games in Complex are to Complex :-)

And what about Jailbreak? Is it just me, or is that game bloody impossible? If that gets in, I'm not sure I'll end the Tour a sane person :)

    Bye.

In process of choosing games for ST, firstly we try to include as many as possible suggestions from players (question in poll fot ST02 and ST05). Second goal was to make games as different as possible in 'technical aspect'!!

    For example:
Malc 74 mentioned platforms, look at them - we have 'flip-screen'-er Saboteur, then there is 'single screen' Snowman, '3D isometric' (platform in mid 80's!!) Rasputin, 'shooter-platform' Kosmic Kanga,... Technician Ted, Fearless Frank.

And only one of this will make it to ST06!! I found it as 'sweet torture' ;-)

Shoot'em ups - 'Vertical scroller' Flying Shark vs 'Horiz. scroller' Silk Worm vs 'straight forward 3D' Eliminator vs 'single screen' Cabal vs 'save-em up' Zzoom. Oh and does any of you young-Specchums remember (/know) Night Gunner?

And what to say for 'deathmatch' at 'Logic-Corall': Dictator / Gatecrusher / Klax ?!? There is few breakot titles too.

Run 4 Gold vs WS Baseball vs Jahangir Kahn's Squash vs...

In 'Maze genre' you'll find an 'First person' game, an '3D isometric' candidate, 'Multi scroller', 'Top-down',...

Tapper vs Highway Encounter vs Turbo Esprit vs Robocop 2 vs... in Action genre, and yes, as always, only one will make for ST06 :-)

Whatever happens, good fun is guaranteed :-) If you don't recognize this (mentioned) titles, are you sure that you had/have ZX Spectrum or visiting wanted Forum?
