The Podcast recommendation thread

edited September 2006 in Chit chat
I listen to the Chris Moyles podcast sometimes.

Can anybody recommend any other good podcasts?

Cheers!

There's always Blibb Blobb, the chiptune podcast.

And besides, it's not "podcasts", it's mp3 downloads by another name. Harumph.

    What is a podcast?

    Podcast:
An annoying obsession radio stations, TV personalities and other annoying people seem to have developed. Basically a pre-recorded MP3 type file that you can download and listen to at your leisure (or lee-sur for cretins).

You can't currently listen to Radio 1 without some DJ promoting their crappy podcast. Now you can hear overpaid fat DJs talk drivel anytime of the day on your MP3 player. Hurrah! And don't forget the exclusives only available on the podcast!! But it gets better - many games developers think they're fun and interesting enough to produce half-hour podcasts where they discuss the amazing per-pixel shading effects of their latest game, as well as all kinds of other boring technical stuff that will send the average listener to sleep, or even convince themself to jump off a cliff to end the misery! Rivetting stuff, the kind of thing you really want to listen to in the morning on your way to work on the tube.

The only podcast I ever enjoyed was the Ricky Gervais one, when it was free.
