Forum annoyance

I browse the Forums with the main page in a tab, then I open a section -say, hardware- in other tab, and read all the threads until exhausted in other tabs which are marked not read. I go back to the Section tab and refresh, so the corresponding not read markers vanish.So far, so good.

Now the bad news: It usually -not always- happens to me that, regardless of using Opera or FFox (never tried IE, never will again... d'oh!) with cookies enabled and everything, when I go back to the main page and refresh it, all the sections lose their former not read markers. Even the ones I did not read yet, and the same occurs with the threads in the sections.

I think this started with the BB software update. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I doing something wrong? This happens at home and at the office and with different machines and browsers, so I don't think it's a problem on my side, but wanted to know anyway.

Try using the "New Posts" tab for reading new posts - I don't know how I ever coped without it!
