It started strongly, but then tailed off.

    "Torrrrrrrrrrrrnnnn..."

It weren't great, but a couple of funny turns on there.

Al Murray has been a lot funnier in the past.

I liked that American girl, who was making all the sick jokes, and finished with the line "So I'm hoping they dig up my 97 year old Grandma's corpse, and find semen traces in her vagina", and Russell Brand's routine based around an edition of the The Sun newspaper a lot, the rest were between poor to fair to middling.

Let me guess ... was she average height (whatever that is), dishwaterblonde-ish, always rubbing her hands together, looked like in her early 40's ... starts her jokes normal but slow and then her punchline(s) are always way outrageous and she often took advantage of making fun of herself, her sexlife, her life, her family and whatnot?

Don't remember her name but that definetly sounded like one of her crude and awful jokes. I am completely and utterly against her*

*But if I could just remember her name I'd go look her up on Limewire.

    No, this was not her.

    It was very "American-stand-up-by-numbers" though.

I only caught a bit of the show, and as a fan of the Mighty Boosh - I was really disappointed by their act. It was a small segment of the live show, which I enjoyed when I saw them in Cardiff. They picked the worst bit of the whole live act to perform on the show. They really wasted a chance to show off their comedy genius. Those who didn't like what they did, don't be put off by it - it was the worst bit of comedy they have ever done.

I also thought that the Bob Dylan cover by the Magic Numbers and than wailing Wainwright bird was complete shite.

Didnt see much more of the show - but what I saw of the show was crap. Bring back Cleese, Atkinson and Pete Townsend I say...

Which comedy event featured Dylan Moran suggesting fellating a Smurf? (The SAS motto is "Death Before Dishonour" - exactly how much dishonour are we talking about here?)

    Nope.

Whilst this persons punchlines were crude at times, it was more subversive than jjust sick jokes,.

I did have to give a little round of applause to Natalie Imbruglia for managing to sing "Torn" live while miming out the comedy dance routine with the other guy...

    ...God she's fit.

Ahhhh ... her ... she was my second choice but alas whatever.
