Manic Miner for PlayStation One

edited February 2007 in Games
I was just browsing RetroSpec for some remakes to try out and noticed that there is a Manic Miner remake for the PSOne (link: http://retrospec.sgn.net/game-links.php?link=mm ).

Does anyone know how I would get this to work? The archive just contains a file called MANICPSX.exe but I would presume there is more to getting this working than just burning it onto a CD and trying it.

I do actually have a chipped PSOne but I never really used it for piracy, I just used it for imports and IMBNES (a superb NES emulator).

I dunno if it would work just burning it onto a CD. But maybe since Manic Miner would be so small in size maybe it would. Hmmm either way it's worth wasting a CD/R just to see if it would work.

It'd be quite good if it's been formatted so you can make saves on the memory card.

I tested a cdr and it didn't work. Oh well, I can't find any PS1 homebrew sites so I think I'll have to give up. I think it may be a Net Yaroze game.

Surely you can email someone on the retrospec site??? or the forums...

I may end up doing that myself as it would be wicked to play Manic Miner on me Playstation! :)
