I read somewhere that somebody used the SAMRAM on a real Spectrum! Possible or not?

answer me if you know or not-I have about 0 replies to a big topic below here!

    Wasn't the SamRam originally a real bit of hardware on Gerton Lunter's machine? (hence why it's emulated in z80)

    I can't see any reason why this wouldn't be possible - the SAMRAM acted in a similar way to the multiface.

    How should I know! I got 30% on the Certification test, I ain't worthy to know the hardware!

    Because I'm fairly sure this information is in z80's documentation? :)

    It is a piece of hardware from Gerton himself. Used on his own machine, as stated in the doc-files.

    It shows however a better/easier screenmenu than the multiface.
