Bit confused what you want to do ,

So you go to start /run and type in CMD and enter

Then you just go to the directory, eg

cd \ to get to the root

dir /w and enter to list all the folders

    probably

    cd program files

Find the folder you need, eg...

    cd porn

and then do the command they tell you to there ? Normally you then type in a command (which they tell you) and the patch then overwrites or amends the exe file ??

'Think' this is what you mean ?

you need to open a command prompt as normal, then type:

    cd C:\Directory1\Directory2\

(i think you may need to surround the path with "..." if there are spaces in the directory names, and swap the Directory1 etc... with the correct folders for yourself)

there's also a tool on the Microsoft website which adds "Open Command Prompt Here" to the right click menu in explorer, handy, but it may be XP only.

    Edit: what he said ^^^

There was a registry patch in a Powertoy developed for Win95 that added a Command-prompt here to the folder context menu displayed when rite-clicking inside a folder in Explorer. That was VERY handy, until I switched Win version and lost it.

    ... 5 mins after...

Got it back here. I'd use method #5. Don't ask why, as I don't really know.
