Laptops - Newbie Wireless Router Q's

edited March 2007 in Chit chat
Parents want to buy two laptops, and also get a router with aol.
They want to be able to surf the .net on either machine, or even at the same time?
Is this possible, or does it really depend on aol's software?
Is it possible to say have the aol software stored on one laptop, and link the other via a wireless network so the 'spare' laptop can surf the .net via say just internet explorer?
I've tried persuading my parents to ditch aol, but they like it, fair enough.
:help:

I have no experience with AOL but you can connect six computers to the net at the same time using one of their wireless routers - see the FAQ on their site.

I qould deliberately sabotage their computer so it won't go online when AOL wireless is set up. THEN convince them to leave!
