Titanic - the sequel

edited April 2007 in Chit chat
This happened about two weeks ago on 04th April in Belfast where they built the Titanic. The guy with camera keeps saying the smaller crane will hit the larger one. "It's tight" his mate says. Just as he turns away it touches with calamitous
results.

The larger crane would be used for the Titanic but I'm not sure if it was moving as well.

I was wrong and it is the 300 ft high Samson crane that knocked the 200 ft swinging crane. The Samson crane was built in 1979 well after the Titanic. Around the time of the ZX80 (tenuous link) in fact.

I think I've been in Canada for too long. I swear that I thought those guys were speaking Japanese at the start of the clip, until my brain finally managed to tune into the thick Norn Iron accent.
