Why is this thread closed?

As far as I know UAE is a freely distributable program, the Amiga Forever package is made up from freely distributable software apart from the OS ROMs - which are licensed.

Skarpo hasn't actually asked for anything illegal.

What's going on guys??

    What with nuts such as Cornish/AY Chip not posting much the mods dont have much to do so locked the thread ;)

    Either that or theyre stunned that Skarpo couldnt use google to find an Amiga emulator ;)

    You're quite right Lloyd, UAE is freely available. The OS ROMS are for want of a better phrase denied distribution. I made mine myself by using a prog provided and loading them onto disk from my A500 and A1200. That is the only legal way of using them with UAE.

    Amiga Forever uses licensed ROMs and is thus only available by purchasing it.

    Cannot understand why the thread was locked Skarpo never asked for the ROMs. For all we know he may already have them.
    Suppose it didn't help the way he asked about Amiga emulators. Sometimes making a joke can cause more trouble than being straightforward.

    Anyway I recommend UAE.
