The email address you supply here is wrong. Here is the mail with my 'help offer' I tried to send you:

    Hi,

I see you're looking for translators of SE Basic. I wouldn't mind taking
care of an italian translation, but I haven't been able to download your
software, and the link is broken, so I have no idea of the time/effort it
would take. If it is reasonable, I'd like to help.

Do you have separate text files or something to make the translation
    process easier?

Great, if you send me this sourcefile, I'll take care of translating the strings, checking out in the program for their context, if necessary...

If you send me an email I will try to help you with the translation to Portuguese.

I'm sure there's a Japanese translator program somewhere on the internet. I'll find it.:)

    Hello Mr Owen,

I have been a professional translator for the last six years, so I think I could help with the translation into French.

To cut a long story short, I would not have become a translator had it not been for the Speccy, so I feel I could repay my debt by offering a French translation for free, provided the amount of work is not too large and the complexity too high.

Any information would be much appreciated.

Wow, this topic seems to be really old !! If it's still valid and you're looking for translators, post a reply here - I might just provide a translation in Romanian.

    Actually, I am :)

I've been thinking about localising BASin for a while... When I get around to it, I may start contacting you people for help :)

Hey, I can fix a Norwegian, Japanese and a German version (master of languages, eh?). It's a pleasure to be helping with SE BASIC, because now I'm an important part of 8-bit computing : ) !
