Joystick interfaces

Which interfaces are both upright like the Kempston one:

But also have a through connector like the AGF one?

    DK Tronic's programmable Joystick Interface
    (and other DK tronics' interfaces)

BTW I noticed that a picture of the programmable is missing.
    I will shoot one.

    Cheers.

Programmable, that would indicate possible conflicts with the likes of the PlusD or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Only if it pages in a ROM cart like the IF2.

As soon as I can get some PCBs made, I'll be building some Kempston ones - thing is, it's gonna cost 60 quid.

If I can get them cheaper - and I will, I'll build a few. Don't worry mate, you're top of the list :)
    Oh bugger!
Have you tried Olimex for PCB making? I've never had a PCB made (I've always made my own 'till now) but I'm thinking of using them shortly - US$35 for a 160x100mm PCB (so if you can panelize and get two interfaces onto the PCB, you'll be able to get the PCB done for half that each).

The dollar being so weak at the moment, it's always a good idea to look for PCB makers who price in dollars rather than euros or pounds because it makes a significant difference!

I think I could get quite a few onto an 6x8" sheet of laminate. All I need is undrilled, double sided veroboard. If you've ever seen the thru port card on the back of a multiface, you'll know exactly what I mean. The PCB would be 70mm x 25mm (2 8/10ths x 1").

I'm still loath to pay somebody else to make them to be honest, since they don't cost much to make. What costs the money is the equipmant, and my lightbox needs a new UV tube :( That and the ink from my inkjet isn't lightproof enough to be reliable.

Maybe I should try your photopaper method Mr W.
    Oh bugger!
