bobsleigh by digital integration
Does anyone else know this game? I tried it for the first time yesterday and enjoyed it. The graphics are simple but effective and the feeling of momentum around the bends on the course is very well delivered. It is also a good one in the emulation era becuase there is a quick arcade fix to be had straight away and a long term strategy to develop through saving progress.
I can descend the first course, Breuil in about 1.06 mins, but I'm a long way off competition standard, so I just wondered if anyone remembers this game and can let me know if it is one I should get better at with practice. I'd like to be good enough to compete in the Olympic bob!
If you have not tried it but do so following this post, I'd love to hear your progress or any tips - especially if you work out which runners to use for which conditions. The instructions are not very good, but it is cursor keys - up and down repeat to push yourself off, left right for the descent and space to get in the bob and apply the brake which you have to apply just after the end of the course, not as you cross the line.
