Just in case I've missed anything.

It's probably the case. After all, I don't follow retro developments nearly as close nowadays as I used to. However, I've been asked to write an article about retro hardware hacks and mods. Stuff like using CF cards for loading/saving data, networking/Internet etc... on 8-bit machines such as the Sinclair ZX Spectrum and ZX81. I can also include the Sinclair QL and perhaps a box-out on the Z88 or something like that.

Anyway, PM me if you know of any developments, especially if you know websites that have good explanations and lots of good quality pics etc...

Many thanks,

Shaun.

http://velesoft.speccy.cz/ has a lot of stuff about spectrum hardware and of course the ever friendly Richard from http://www.rwapsoftware.co.uk/ who has been lovingly remanufacturing joysticks, keyboards and plus D interfaces. Don't forget his new divIDE+ spectrum interface.

You could alway mention the speccy diagnostics board featured elsewhere on this forum and also you could have a butchers at the commodore section of Patrick Delavanes WinTZX site www.wintzx.fr.tc/. On here theres quite an interesting bit about a Memory card digital version of the commodes C2n shitpile tapedeck.

It's in the 'about' section and just click on the link where he is talking about the C64
