Doubt Tony Hawks would be able to do it, too busy doing his skateboarding stuff and would cost you a ton

I've always been a fan of Bob Mills since 'ahem' Gamesworld on Sky in the early 90's

All of the candidates are available and on budget, so this is pretty much the decision time.

id say bob mills or paul ross.

bob is a really funny bloke, but im not sure whats scripted

paul ross has loads of experience presenting.

Barry Crier, he has a dry sense of humour and a sharp wit.

    Tony Hawks as second choice.

((this year I have been mostly listening to Radio 7))

No no, that's SIR Jonathan you're talking about, I think they're on about Wannafan woss, him who does the Friday night show. Personally, I'd choose wannafan over Paul to host a show anytime :)

    Oh bugger!<br>

Sorry, I don't know any of those names. Hows about a cardboard cutout of Sir John Mills instead. Its the closest suggestion to what you have listed. Hope I've been of help.

Book Barry Cryer - the man's a comedy legend who's written for practically every other comedy legend and has the anecdotes to prove it.

Tony Hawks or Barry Cryer, definitely.

Looking at the choices I would say your best bet is to just not have an awards evening.
    My test signature

No one had voted for Dominic Holland, so I just did. That just leaves poor John - unloved and uncared for.

I voted for Barry Cryer as he is mature, intelligent, witty and informed. I have enjoyed some of Bob Mills stuff on TV but he is a bit of a scruffy git and so maybe not right for an awards ceremony.

DON'T book big nosed rubbish comedian Tony Hawks as he does awful student humour as it was 15 years ago.
