Don't see any evidence of anything here unless you believe blindly what the guy narrating says.

The building collapse looks nothing like the previous 'exploded' ones....don't see or hear the charges going off like you do in the others.

Don't you find it interesting cornish pasty that on the others you hear the charges...yet on the WTS one you dont hear ANY charges but you can hear the building collapsing.......oh wait.....the CIA have noiseless explosives too now right? :D

    Next!

I thought Babylon 5 jumped the shark pretty quickly. All that crap with d'len or whatever her name was.

Vir and Londo were the only reason to watch after the first season.

    Yawn!

Let's talk about sheds instead. I wish I still had one but I moved to a new apartment last year and I no longer have a back garden to put on in. :(

By the way, G'Kar was the best character in Babylon 5. 8)

Delenne (?) was far cooler in the TV movie pilot. Red eyes n pointy chin. Nice. Great characters, shame about the oh-so-predictable stories. Oh, and that awful B5 remake of Quatermass and the Pit!

Bab 5 wasn't as bad as the Star Trek remake tho, DS9.
    Oh bugger!<br>

Y'know, I'm almost ashamed to admit this but despite being in her 50s, Mira Furlan is one hell of a sexy woman. :)

Trials and Tribble-ations was the best thing DS9 ever did. Terrific episode. The rest however did seem rather ponderous.

Worf, always enjoyed eps with him in. He always looked so pissed off all the time.

But I have to bring this round to the best Sci-Fi series ever.

    Firefly.

Not one duff episode. Not one duff character.

The hero of Canton, the man they call Jayne.

    Ahhhh fantastic.

It'll be the first thing in the DVD if I ever get a widescreen TV.

    Mmmm... Kaylee! :)

Firefly is definitely one of the greatest sci-fi shows ever made. I wish that one day the rights to the series will revert to Joss Whedon and he'll get to continue the story. That would be awesome!

Yeah, so long as Kaylee isn't in her 50's.

Is it worth me watching DS9...I watched all the Star Trek shows except DS9 and have them all on divx.

Watched the first episode when it originally aired and didn't like the look of it.....so....is it worth a week of my life to watch all seasons?

I hated DS9 when it first came out - not a patch on TNG. But then it grew on me - especially after Worf arrived. I started losing interest in Star Trek with Voyager, and then just completely gave up with it with Enterprise. The last Star Trek film broke the "even-numbered Star Trek film" rule - and I'm not even going to bother to see the next one when it comes out.

As for the Star Trek women - I can't think of a single one I remotely fancied, although Marina Sirtis wasn't bad. But she's 52 now! Aaarrgh!!!

I watched it until the end of season two but lost interest then. Later I saw repeats of some of the later episodes and it had improved a hell of a lot. I keep meaning to watch the entire series but haven't gotten around to it yet.

There's a really cool story arc lasting about 7 episodes at the start of the 6th season when
    Spoiler:
After seeing that, I decided I had to watch the entire series (and maybe get the DVDs if I had the money) and maybe soon I will.

I did enjoy the whole Dominion War story arc. I think it was the last truly good Star Trek ever produced. Good, gritty storylines full of political intrigue and betrayal.

At the risk of offending a large number of WOSsers I'd like to say Star Trek is shit!

The original has it's camp value nobody can deny that, but the only Star Trek spin-off that was any good ironically was Enterprise. Set 50 years before the original......oh well!
    Every night is curry night!

Sure, Enterprise had some good moments. Season 3 was largely a write-off though, with a boring story arc spanning the entire season (can't even remember what it was about now - something to do with people from the future fighting some sort of time war, I think). Couldn't stand that whining T'Pol character with all her emotional baggage, either. Get it together, bitch! Vulcans are supposed to be emotionless, for God's sake!

Fortunate that they killed it off when they did; and if they have any sense they won't even be contemplating a new Star Trek series.

The original Star Trek i really liked but never liked the movies, always seemed such a poor mans Star Wars.

Still got to watch Firefly the series, i've heard such good things about it but i'm nervous as people rave on about Serenity and i thought that was very average
  • edited July 2007
Watched Serenity, but not Firefly. Farscape still wins out for me. The Peacekeeper Wars finale is the best off-shore scifi drama Ive seen.

Startrek Enterprise. Is an atrocious mess for me. 2nd wave K'tinga warships, 50 years before the original series? I think not!

I might have got into Star Trek when it came back but it seemed that there were simply so many ST TV shows ? The special effects looked great but thought it was overkill as there were a fair few shows.

The films were always a poor mans version of Star Wars, one minute Spock dies, then Leonard Nimoy needs some more money for his extension or whatever so thinks he wants back in and then comes back to life, all got a bit silly.
