More ebay hilarity

edited July 2007 in Sinclair Miscellaneous
This one thinks that people might actually buy a copy of my Knightlore map!

Though I note that there's nobody dumb enough in the Speccy community to actually pay for something that's available on WOS (and several other speccy sites) for free...

    How can I?

    Firstly, I can't prove it's my map - secondly, she's not sold any :-)

All of the other maps have my name on them, but I forgot to add it to the Knightlore map unfortunately... And let's face it - anyone who is into the speccy will have found WOS, and will likely have already got a copy of the map for free.

    The cheeky tw@!

    Dunny,

Click "Report this item" at the bottom of the auction page.

In step 1 select "Counterfeits and breach of copyright"

Step 2: select "Other potential infringement"

Step 3: select "Seller is offering to send....."

You may find better matches than the above. But please, don't let this arsehole get away with it.

I've reported them myself anyway by following the above procedure.

Feel free to do the same. It just sends an automated email to Ebay and they'll check it out.

I've also reported the seller for her other auction of selling electronically speccy games including Manic Miner and others with an emulator.

That's bare faced cheek that is, almost as cheeky as selling one of Andrew Rollings' many thousands of books on there :p

    Hehe...

Now that was just funny... Of course, I really don't believe the buyer's excuse that 'his brother did it.' (Unless it was B00mzilla or Mr. Kizza that bought it ;) )

But that was a legit copy, just bought by an idiot. Shame the money didn't go to a worthwhile cause.
