For free off Craig's list (do you guys have craig's list over there?)

1 C64c with box as new
1 1571 Disk drive with box as new
1 TAC30 Joystick with box as new
1 SP1000 printer with box as new
200+ original C64 disks, mostly games some apps.

Guy couldn't understand why I would want 'that old junk'. Said he had about 100 emails to write to tell people it had already been given away.

In exchange he wants me to email him instructions on how he can play 'super cycle' on his PC.

Not a bad deal :)

Not a bad deal for nixie!

Pity it wasn't Speccy stuff, although there aren't many people from the land of the perpetual cheeseburger that actually like Speccys' (Or even know what they are for that matter:D).

Keep em for spares! I got 3 working c64s and 2 none working now. The none working ones do make good home security devices, keep it by the door and whack any (insert religion preference here) nut on the head with it.

Forgot the name of it but there was a scheme in a lot of areas where basically people are throwing bits out but send a message to the list to see if anyone wants it for free (if they pick it up)

Was on one of the local ones, some decent stuff, lucky i'm not a hoarder though as i could easily have said i'll have it to most of it !

Forget the name of the scheme but its quite popular over here

    Edit - Found the link...

    http://www.freecycle.org

I wasnt expecting much from it but the local one i did join there was a fair bit of stuff
