i ran the russian through babelfish, it cam up with gibberish, they must be stupid russians who cant write properly. (not babel fish's fault then -ed)

ermmm the bloke said that he was gonig to have to eat cake for the rest of the week as it was massive, or something like that.

Thing that makes me wonder about Babelfish is when you put a foreign language into it and translate it into English you get Gamestage. So I wonder if the results of converting English to another language appear as gibberish to someone who speaks that language? Babelfish is pretty terrible but it's quite amusing putting in well known pieces of text, converting them to some other language, then converting them back to English (but not so funny that it doesn't get boring very quickly).

It is written in a very casual style (just look at the brackets). I don't speak Russian, but can read a few words of it.

This probably needs a native Russian speaker to translate correctly, but (with the help of a translator) I think it roughly says something like:-
    About sweetish things:-

On the second day I gorge on pies and cakes, then tangy pizza for the night, I feel perfect.

It is interesting to find how many days it will take for me to tire of sweetish things?

I'd like to see Cray computer-cakes or maybe something simple enough like an ENIAC ... it might take more than two people two days to eat them though.

Yes, might be a bit heavy on the stomach an ENIAC cake. Anything modelled on thermionic valves wired for base-10 computations would take quite a bit of time to chomp through I'd imagine.

For people on a diet, maybe a propellor microcontroller cake would be nice and low in calories too.

    how about a colossus cake.
with rice-paper tape, and boiled sugar valves

Excellent idea guesser, and I'm sure it would look great. But I think "turing complete" cakes taste yummier!
