Ejected BAE Systems Tornado navigator hunted over Norwich
Just read this on the BBC:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/norfolk/7095214.stm
I can imagine the conversation now:
Pilot - Hey Nigel, someone has submitted a bug report about the Navigator's ejector seat firing when the plane is upside down
Navigator - Nah that was fixed in "Windows for Tornados Service Pack 3"
Pilot - Okay better test in anyway...here goes
<Bang> <Whoooosh>
Navigator - Arse!

hm im confused
so who fired him out...or did he just PING!! out?
and the pilot said he never saw a parachute?
and its been called off?
did they check up the trees?
Woooosh....
well that was the bog flush
Wouldn't suprise me if the plane wasn't actually maintained by kwik fit
And why was the pilot flying upside down, was he Australian or something
And finally bugger me this is my 1000th post whoooooohoooooo
apparently as it was upside down, and ejector seats fire you out quite fast and far enough away from the plane so you dont hit it and can get the chute open...he mustve been shot out at the ground with some speed and force, wouldnt have had time to get the chute open
