IF2 Joystick port on Keyboard connector
Hi all,
I just found this in the forums but I am not sure about the view to the keybord sockets.
Are the connections give from the view to the component layer or the solder layer. Would be nice if someone can answer my question.
Regards
Stephan
These connections should be ok for 48k to +2, but not for +2A,+2B,+3 (built in anyway)
looking at the bottom of the cicuit board the two keyboard sockets (5 pin & 8 pin) are usually almost inline with each other:
i refer to the pins in this order : (5 pin)12345..........(8 pin)6789ABCD
9 pin D : keyboard terminal
IF2 port 1 (this one needed if only using one port)
1 : 2
2 : 3
3 : 5
4 : 2
5 : N/C
6 : 1
7 : N/C
8 : 9
9 : N/C
IF2 port 2 (optional second port)
1 : 4
2 : 3
3 : 1
4 : 4
5 : N/C
6 : 5
7 : N/C
8 : 6
9 : N/C
