Nero question.
I've been using Nero to make cd's for ages. When I upgraded my computer, it came with a flashy new version (version 7 I think it is). It's great, but my question is this. On my old version, I had the option to make a hybrid cd as in an audio cd that will play on any player, but with a rom part so that i could add artwork, video files etc. this option is totally missing from my new version. Is there a was I can get this back, or do I need to dig out my old pc? I want to make a cd of my old band and put on it the one live video we have and some pics and stuff.

Later versions also come with all this shit that helps itself to your resources and wants to inspect your computer and helpfully compile indices of your media for your convenience, as if you're a pleb who's never used a computer before and only ever uses it to get musics from their cds to their ipods. Pain in the arse bloatware shite.
Does that help? :)
Nope. Not on my version. It seems silly to remove something like that. It was deffinatly there on my earlier version as I used it then for the same reason that I need it now. I never kept a copy of the cd's I did back then so I can't just do a copy of that :( So much for progress!
Nero has also made itself my default picture viewer. That a real pain too. It may not be up to much, but I prefered the defult windows viewer. Nero editing stuff is usefull though!
* I'll try when I'm sober, it looks complicated! *
Are you perchance using:
* a trial version,
* a dodgy serial number,
* a corrupted or incomplete install?
If 'no' to all three, then I can't think what the problem is.
Perhaps you should download the latest version (8.2.3.0), but be sure to do so only from nero.com; I've come across several sites offering a bogus "Nero 9", some of which charge for the privilege of downloading it (which is itself suspect), and goodness only knows what manner of malware this is...
misteaksmistrakesmisyaleserrurs— oh, sod it.
