For some reason this has been taken over by a sh*tty domain registrar thingy.

I was hoping to take this over when it expired in February 2008.

Unfortunately, it seems like some c*nts who have f*ck-all t do with the speccy scene have grabbed it.

Is there anyway I can get rid of those grinning c*nts?

    Is there a car called the Speccy? I mean the basts seem to have spoilers galore up on that site.

    BTW Didn't you used to own that site? What's the story behind it going to those rearwipes?

    The site was owned by Jim Langmead, a popular contributor to the speccy scene, who sadly died last year (see here).

    I took over the running of the site. I did intend to renew the domain when it expired last month but someone has beaten me to it.

    According to WHOIS, the domain is still awaiting renewal however, which I take to mean that there is a period of ~30 days where it can be renewed by the original party. So I'll probably contact Jim's mum and try to get it transferred to her when/if I find out how to do it.
