Spindizzy question
Hi
I have in front of me a tape by Advanced Computer Entertainment, July 1988, which contains Spindizzy (CBM, Speccy, Amstrad versions) and since this is not mentioned on infoseek does that mean it's been overlooked - in which case can it be added - or is it one of those shhhhh we don't mention that here sort of things?
cheers from Guy

I also have an ACE tape, can't remember if I made a C64 TAP and other formats ? Or if it's the same one as you mention.
I only know year and publisher, from your initial post...
There's a few that had Spectrum/C64/Amstrad demos on them, I think I have one with R-Type. I might have even TZXed the speccy side.
I'll check them out if I can remember where they are. It might even be possible
to make a V1.13 TZX of all them into one file. Unless we only serve the Spectrum parts.
Anyone remember the Publisher for ACE ? Perhaps we can find that someone has already scanned the mags (Mort ?).
[Edit] Ah, It's Future Publishing as infoseek already mentions:

I think
http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekpub.cgi?regexp=^Future+Publishing$
is a better link :)
Correction - no it wasn't - ACE 1 had a tape with goodies for the Speccy and C64.
I noticed that ACE rarely had CPC stuff on any tapes they gave away.

Spindizzy came with issue 10:

Aliens came with issue 17:

Ace #1 had Gift from the Gods and "Demo of new Ocean games" for the Spectrum and Blue Max for the C64.
Ace #2 had a 5-level demo of Bubble Bobble.
Ace #9 had Impossible Mission for the Spectrum, Amstrad, C64 and BBC.
Ace #10, as previously mentioned, had Spindizzy for the Spectrum, Amstrad and C64.
Ace #16 had a demo of Dragon Ninja for the Spectrum, Amstrad, C64, Amiga and ST.
Ace #17, as previously mentioned, had Aliens on the covertape; no idea which version (Aliens or Aliens US) or which formats though.
There were a couple of issues in 1989 with audio-only covertapes and the last two issues came with dual-format Amiga/PC disks but that's all the free software they gave away.
I think R-Type came one a C&VG Games covertape. I need to check again,
but they were loose (no inlay) AFAIK.
Cheers
