GAL chips

Could some one just confirm the amount of times you can write to with this type of chip for me? I thought it was 100 times, eraseing the chip which counts as a write, yes? I'm sure I have only used this chip 10 times, 5 writes 5 erases. ( GAL22V10D ).

    The datasheet says 100 erase cycles. It's the erase cycle that's the important one, not the write.

    100 is guaranteed count of writes/erases. And GAl chips count it, so with proper SW you can read out how many times it was written.
    I think that chip will get damaged mechanically earlier than we reach 100 reprogrammings...

    This GAL versions use after power-on pulldown 10K on pin 2. This is undocumented feature.
