War Machine 2 (never made?)

Greetings and felicitations!

I notice that at the end of War Machine the screen says that there is going to be a WM2 (look at upper right hand of map) but apparently it was never made? Is this a "Game Which Time Kinda, Sorta Forgot" ? Leave this info in your capable hands.

    Love that game but its so, so tough (for poor lil me.) Don't know of any sequel, but the artwork was later used for a PSX game (Along with a few other Players software titles.)

    Did the sequel make it to the Amiga? I know the original came out on that machine.
