War Game (Microhobby)

Here is some explanation about the publication (unknown in Infoseek) of War Game.

It's an strategy game published in the issue 37 of 'Microhobby Semanal'. It came in a peculiar medium delivered with the mag: Discoflex. It was a sort of soft plastic record (like a little Long Play) you had to put in a Hi-Fi set and save it to a tape, then load in the Spectrum. It was in theory an easy and cheap way to distribute programs with the magazine, as the Discoflex was easily inserted among their pages. But Microhobby didn't deliver the Discoflex any more... maybe several fails in the plastic record (I was one of the many people who got a wrong copy ) did it not interesting to deliver.

It came with two programs, one in each side: a demo of Hypersports and a full game, War Game.

Both game and demo, plus more explanations about Discoflex can be found in Jose Manuel Claros' page 'El Trastero': http://www.speccy.org/trastero/cosas/Discoflex/Discoflex.htm (in spanish).
