I remember as a teenager seeing the smug little Darlings being interviewed on the telly and just wanted to punch their lights out ;-)

If someone has a pic of a Spectrum in that same position I'll start Photoshop and replace that computer with the real one.

Why is it that people who genuinely do something good are lucky to get a poxy CBE/MBE*/OBE etc, whilst corrupt politicians and millionaire entertainers or footballers get knighthoods or peerages?

Look at Jeffrey Archer, he's a Lord, and wasn't even stripped of it after his (easy and cut-short) prison sentence. And Neil Kinnock, a worthless hypocrate who is also so amazingly incompetent that he lost the 1992 election against the Tories (which was akin to losing at tennis to Stephen Hawking).

And then there's that great humanitarian Rober Mugabee, who was given a Knighthood...

    * Incidentally, an MBE is a Member of the British Empire Award, which is strange, as surely we (the British) are all members of the British Empire anyway? So surely the MBE award means nothing at all, if you're already British.

The CBE would be the budget label of the awards.

There'll be a new release soon 'super advanced CBE simulator' and it will be described as 'absolutely brilliant' and will have 'amazing graphics!'. Coming out soon!
