There's nothing of interest there. I think I have a better collection of machines than those.
    Tried ebay?

Yes, absolutely nothing even with worldwide search. I only have two disks that need preserving so I don't really want to spend any (much) money.

My best bet is probably somewhere like Bletchly Park but there not too keen on loaning kit out.

Just out of interest what are you looking to preserve?

Blimey, I wasn't expecting that - what a find! Perhaps now would be a good time to get in contact with a professional data recovery agency?

You could ask one of our suppliers of broadcast equipment, they are based in Surrey and designed and built the hardware onsite. In the late 80's they had graphics equipment with 8" drives. The company is still going and you could see if they have any old kit around their workshop.

Just say a Broadcast Engineer from BSkyB pointed you in their direction.

I think the support e-mail is support@aston.tv. If that e-mail address does not work then use sales@aston.tv and ask them to forward it onto support.

Don't blame me if they tell you to bugger off for not being a customer.

Might be an interesting PR thing for them, assuming you did not source the disks from some dodgy bloke down the pub. :-)
