    Here we go again....

Yeah but...wow. A lot of those 2600 titles would be worth a few quid...

It's strange though, seems to be a shop stock that maybe went out of business, as many sealed (also likely to be duplicates- not mentioned!) but it's odd the way a copy of what looks like Arcadia by Imagine is next to releases by Players from years later...maybe it was a new and second-hand mail order dealer? I remember a lot of those advertised in Crash etc. and at least two of them i sent cheques to went bust and ripped me off. Those games are mine!

    bloody hell!...1,500 quid!

someone has some money to burn i guess. :o

admittedly it does look like a decent investment but how many of those games are multiple copies? The scans indicate there are loads of copies of the same games...

    "45,000 brand new retro games"
Sounds a bit strange that doesn't it :)

this is the chappy that bought a bulk load off me about 6 months ago , he must be sick of them , maybe ??

The size of that font and the way the advert is put together, I find very off putting.

mogweezer someone once paid me ?1,550 for a mere 7,500 wargaming magazines I sold on eBay - it's not suprising really.

the auction has been ended , anyone here know why ? or has anyone offered a price on them ?
  • edited April 2003
No idea. The price had risen to over ?2000 when I checked it a few hours ago.
I love the excuse for finishing the auction early though! Lost or broken indeed! Unless his lock-up caught fire (which doesn't actually bear thinking about) it's a bit far fetched to say the least!

the excuse of lost or broken is just incredible , can you imagine losing 40,000 games or even worse breaking every one ?
  • edited April 2003
Either way, I'm gutted! I could have done with another 200 copies of Octagon Squad :)

Bloody right, sirclive1! To (mis)quote Oscar Wilde: "To lose one game may be regarded as a misfortune. To lose all 40,000 looks like carelessness." ;)
