    I would have thought that Phil K. or NickH might have had an idea, but surprisingly they've not posted. Maybe they hadn't seen this thread, but will do now it's bumped. Failing that, you could try posting on

    comp.sys.sinclair

    and see if anyone answers you there.

    Looking through the mags there are only very vague numbers and anticipated sales figures. I don't think any year by year numbers exist that have any great credence.

    The man himself might know. Have you tried an email to Sinclair Research or Amstrad?
